We use the information We collect from Customer Visitors to create a secure and personalized service.

Customer Visitors (individuals who visit publisher’s websites)

Information we automatically collect

For Customer Visitors, when a Customer Visitor visits a Customer Website, We collect certain information regarding their use of the Customer Website, such as their IP address and browser type on behalf of our Customer. Their session on the Customer Website will be tracked. We may use their IP address to identify the general geographic area from which they are accessing the Customer Website. We also use this information for systems administration purposes, abuse prevention and to track user trends in connection with Our provision of the Service.

As part of the Service, We collect information relating to traffic on the Customer Websites ("Traffic Data") on which Customers choose to activate the Service. In connection with the collection of this Traffic Data, Colombia Online does not collect any personal information from Customer Visitors, (i) so long as the Customer configures the Colombia Online on the Customer Website in accordance with the instructions and documentation provided by Us, so that URLs containing personal information of Customer Visitors are not captured by the Service, and (ii) provided that We do collect and store IP addresses from Customer Visitors in order to show geolocation information.

Traffic Data is used to provide Customers with real-time analytics and uptime monitoring. We may aggregate and anonymize Traffic Data with that from other sites to provide benchmarking data and other functionality, but We will not use or disclose aggregated Traffic Data in a manner that reveals the identity of a Customer visitor or Customer’s Website without your prior consent.

We also collect first party cookie IDs (and information of other applications installed, app versions, etc. in case of mobile application) on behalf of Customers. Colombia code, by default, sets and reads a cookie on the Customer's website domain containing a randomly-generated user ID in case of mobile website or website for purposes of determining unique visitor counts and visitors' loyalty to a site and collection of AAID/GAID and IDFA in case of use of Customer’s Mobile Application. Such information can be classified as personal information under the European General Data Protection Regulation.

We also collect and use browser header information to help Us understand from which websites a Customer Visitor navigates to a Customer Website.

We collect events related to Colombia ad serving activity such as the number of ads or type of ads shown to a user or ads clicked by a user on different scenarios or post-click activity in relation to the ad. This allows us to personalize and develop user analytics in a secure & non-identifying way for users.

We also collect technical user identifiers from our advertising partners for the purpose of linking the different browsers and mobile apps you use and serve you relevant ads based on your behaviour across environments (“ID syncing”).

We collect information in order to improve the relevancy of ads being shown to you. The data we collect is used for reporting and analytics purposes and to give our clients & partners more information about the performance of their advertising campaigns and to improve performance over a long time.

Colombia also tracks user’s online behaviour & serves interest-based advertising based on that.

If a user is interested in opting out from specific network's interest-based ads, he or she can opt out through the network’s privacy policy page or opt out page.

If the user has opted out of any of our network partners, he/she will not obtain personalized ads from that partner via Colombia or as mentioned in their respective privacy terms. You can request and receive a copy of the specific pieces of the personal information that We have collected from you in the last 12 months of making the request. Please note that if your request for the erasure of your personal information;

For example, if we suspend a Colombia Online account for fraud or safety reasons, we may retain certain information from that account to prevent that Customer from opening a new account in the future.
